We do not use optical brighteners or dyeing with allergenic components in making our products; and, the fibers that we use haven't been chemically cleansed or treated, thus retaining their natural lanolin oil - a waxy substance derived from sheep hair fibers.

Plant dyes are an eco-friendly way that we color our fabrics and yarns. Our dyes are made from plants found in the local communities of Nepal. Plant dyes add rich color to our fabrics and yarns that not only look beautiful but also last longer than synthetic dyes. And because they are plant-based, they do not contain toxic chemicals or heavy metals, thus having far better of an impact on your family's health and the environment than their chemical counterparts.
Anti-microbial, deodorizing, insect repellant & anti-allergenic
Our plant dyes are the best for your family's health. Many of our plant dyes, such as catechu, have anti-microbial properties that can kill bacteria and resist mold and mildew growth. Our dyes also have a deodorizing effect thanks to their resistance to bacteria. Some of our plant dyes, such as pomegranate, contain compounds to repel insects, such as mosquitos.
