Before one of our Wooliie products is made and makes its journey into the world, it is lovingly crafted by a Nepali artisan in small, thoughtful steps. Just as every person is unique, each of our products is a valuable and unique item thanks to our special manufacturing process. This is what makes Wooliie products so special.

Only materials and techniques of the highest quality are used in our Wooliie products. Starting with caring for the herds, through the quality control of the Wooliie fibers, to the respective handmaking of each of our Wooliie products. We achieve a product quality that is second to none and stands for all-around nature: organic cultivation without pesticides, no use of optical brighteners, no dyeing with allergenic components, as well as fair working conditions for all involved.

We only use high-quality materials from controlled production. We are the first pet product manufacturer to provide products that are 100% made with natural fibers and only colored by plants. Each detail of our products must pass our stringent quality control, down to the threads that we use to produce our labels- no synthetic fiber or dye whatsoever.

High quality is an important part of our identity. It is our prerequisite for being the toy, mat, blanket, or clothing of your pet or baby. We recognize this and go beyond legal requirements to make our products harmless, valuable, and sustainable. We are the first pet toy manufacturer in the world to introduce such a stringent quality management system.

We want your family to be able to play carefree and explore their surroundings with their Wooliie toys and products close by their side. That's why we only use harmless materials in the production of our toys and one-of-a-kind fashion clothing. In addition, we apply the strictest requirements for hygiene and purity in the manufacturing process. In the case of our pet clothing, we always ensure that accessories and mechanical parts such as fasteners are pet-friendly and safe. We have our adherence to these guidelines reassessed with each new production.

For us, however, products must be more than just safe and harmless. We want them to feel great and to create moments of joy every day. That's why all our products are lovingly handmade. Our soft toys are made from particularly soft materials and our strict Wooliie standards of workmanship ensure consistent quality. We only use high-quality natural fibers, such as Merino wool, virgin wool, cashmere, or cotton.

For us, quality also means being mindful of our planet's finite resources. In many of our products, we use natural fibers from controlled organic cultivation and ensure ecologically safe production. We implement these guidelines throughout the entire supply chain. Even more, we offer a fashion repair service that extends the lifetime of our products and thus additionally conserves resources.

We want the wool for lovingly crafted Wooliie products to come 100% from sheep that live under the best possible, defined conditions. The animals receiving sufficient food, always enough water, and an environment that meets the animals' needs are important basics. They should be healthy and protected and should feel comfortable and enjoy a reliably good human-animal relationship. These standards are implemented in our supply chain. Only farmers who meet these high standards for animal welfare and manage their land in a forward-looking way receive our support.

Our dyed products are 100% colored by plants. Our plant dyes are biodegradable, non-toxic, and non-allergenic. We support plant dye over synthetic dye because it avoids the use of any harmful chemicals during the dyeing and finishing process, thus providing the best health and environmental impact possible.

Environmentally friendly & biodegradable
Plant dyes are an eco-friendly way that we color our fabrics and yarns. Our dyes are made from plants found in the local communities of Nepal. Plant dyes add rich color to our fabrics and yarns that not only look beautiful but also last longer than synthetic dyes. And because they are plant-based, they do not contain toxic chemicals or heavy metals, thus having far better of an impact on your family's health and the environment than their chemical counterparts.
Anti-microbial, deodorizing, insect repellant & anti-allergenic
Our plant dyes are the best for your family's health. Many of our plant dyes, such as catechu, have anti-microbial properties that can kill bacteria and resist mold and mildew growth. Our dyes also have a deodorizing effect thanks to their resistance to bacteria. Some of our plant dyes, such as pomegranate, contain compounds to repel insects, such as mosquitos. They are also safe for the skin and do not cause rashes, especially for our more sensitive friends. This is because they are made from natural sources and do not contain any harmful ingredients. Our dyes are the best choice for anyone who cares about the well-being of their family.
Beautifully rich & unique range of hues
There are many natural plant dyes that we use as a substitute for chemical dyes, offering a variety of unique colors- from bright and bold to subtle and delicate. Some of our dyes are extracted from indigo, turmeric, pomegranate, marigold, padamchal, myrobalan, rose, walnut, and catechu. We have created unique effects and shades that cannot be achieved with synthetic dyes.
Employment for artisan communities
The use of plant dyes is a centuries-old tradition in Nepal. Although chemical dyes have become more commonly used in the modern world, the recent emphasis on environmental consciousness has brought plant dyes back into focus. Our collective choice to use plant dyes is providing employment for the artisan communities that still produce them on a small scale.
